of waterfalls the River Ure drops noisily down over limestone steps in clouds
of spray.

beautiful setting, dramatic when the river is in spate. Leyburn Shawl A beautiful limestone escarpment
recently bought by Leyburn Council for the benefit of local people and visitors.
